What is a perfect day, and why ClassHabits grows a tree for every one

A perfect day is a day you finish every habit you planned. Why we built ClassHabits around it, how the forest works, and why it's kinder than a streak alone.

In ClassHabits, a perfect day is a day where you complete every habit scheduled for that day. Not every habit you own, just the ones that were due. Finish them all and a tree grows in your forest.

Why build around perfect days

Individual streaks are great, but they hide the bigger picture. You can keep a 50-day reading streak while everything else slips. A perfect day asks a simpler question: did I do what I said I'd do today? That's the question that actually changes a life over a year.

How the forest works

  • Every perfect day plants a tree in a 3D forest, one month at a time.
  • Perfect days earn ClassCoins, which you can spend in the tree shop on new species, from pines to cherry blossoms to animated showpieces.
  • Missed days don't cost you anything. There are no penalties. The forest simply shows what you did.

Being kind to yourself

Life happens, so ClassHabits has a few ways to keep things fair:

  • Schedules: a habit due on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays doesn't count against you on Tuesdays.
  • Skip: mark a habit as skipped for a day when it genuinely doesn't apply.
  • Vacation mode: going away? Pause it, and the days you're away won't break your streaks or count as missed.

Over a year, your forest becomes a picture of your consistency, and a much nicer one to look at than a spreadsheet. Want to know how long it takes for a habit to stick? Probably about as long as it takes to grow your first grove.
